About Me

My name is Emily and I am a Dietitian from Lichfield, UK. Ever since i was young i have always been inspired and passionate about food, health and exercise; which is what lead me to becoming a Dietitian.

I graduated as a Dietitian in 2012; firstly working as an Acute Dietitian in a Hospital within the NHS. I then became a Community Dietitian whereby I was based in Medical Practices and visiting patients in their own homes or Care homes. I then moved into a private role, working within a weight loss surgery Hospital. Most recently I am working within the NHS as part of the Community Dietitians team supporting Nutrition Support patients within Wolverhampton community. I have a keen interest in Sports Nutrition and research and have been very lucky with many opportunities to travel within the UK and Europe as part of a small research team; and am very proud to have had my name published on 2 research papers.

Despite where I have been working at the time i have constantly loved working with each and every person on an individual and personalized level. I am passionate about helping my clients live their most optimal healthy lives; whether it be Nutrition counselling, behavioural change or simply providing meal ideas or cooking tips.

Living a Healthy Life has never stopped me from doing what i want to do and where i want to go; its just part of me. My main love in life is travelling; having had the opportunity to visit many places all over the world. Living in Sydney for 2 years I was able to experience different cultures and lifestyles which has truly shaped my personality and broadened my awareness of the world. I think it is important to be open minded and understand different ways of living and even more importantly taking everything positive from experiences and applying it to your own everyday life.

I strongly believe that so long as you have good health, you can always turn your can’ts into cans and your dreams into plans to achieve anything and everything!

“I STRONGLY BELIEVE THAT SO LONG AS YOU HAVE GOOD HEALTH, YOU CAN ALWAYS TURN YOUR CAN’TS INTO CANS AND YOUR DREAMS INTO PLANS TO ACHIEVE ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING!”
